Submit your Abstract by 31 October 2025! Focus on Industry Topics
Do you have innovative ideas and want to present your latest scientific, and industrial results to biomass and bioeconomy international specialists and decision-makers?
Be part of EUBCE 2026 the prime global biomass event that will further evolve with a sharper focus on sustainable biomass production, emerging conversion technologies and biomass integration with detailed descriptions and refined scope to address the evolving landscape. A particular focus will be placed on industrial applications of innovative biomass technologies, addressing the need for accelerated deployment. Abstracts are encouraged that showcase applications and initiatives for large-scale production of sustainable fuels, biochemicals, and biomethane. They should present advances in industrial conversion processes, commercial demonstration, supply chain logistics, or policy and financial mechanisms, as well as challenges and market barriers from the industry standpoint.
The Biomass Industry and closely related research work are invited to submit abstracts on the following industry dedicated topics:
1 - Sustainable biomass production and carbon management for industrial applications
2 - Sustainable management of waste streams and process residues for industrial applications
3 - Industrial biomethane production
4 - Advanced biofuels - Road & heavy-duty transport
5 - Advanced biofuels - Aviation
6 - Advanced biofuels - Shipping
7 - Thermochemical Biomass conversion
8 - Production of biomaterials, bioproducts & biochemicals in industry
Submit your industry tailored abstract by 31 October 2025!

The Hague 2026: Uniting the Biomass Industry to Make a Difference
Kyriakos Maniatis
Former European Commission, DG Energy
EUBCE Industry Programme Coordinator
“Dear Biomass Industry Stakeholder,
New global developments have created uncertainties in the biomass market with the most critical being the withdrawal of big oil from low carbon fuels deployment resulting in reservations whether EU and globally mandated targets can be met. Biomass resources are again being attacked as unsustainable when used for energy and there is a significant push to ignore the biomass contribution and move directly to e-fuels and e-products which are at least 3-4 time more costly resulting in stalling efforts to address climate change. [...]
All the above issues result into a complex and multifaceted situation with more questions than answers. In The Hague we can’t promise that we will be able to answer all your questions; however, we aim to have an excellent array of speakers and numerous of your peers attending either as speakers or in the exhibition. You are given a unique opportunity to join us and network while engaging your peers.
The EUBCE in The Hague is the biomass conference to attend in 2026! Do join us next May. Together we can make a much-needed difference in troubled times!”
