On Monday, 18 May 2026, the National Committee has prepared a series of exclusive technical tours for EUBCE participants, offering a unique opportunity to explore some of the most advanced bioenergy and bioeconomy innovation hubs in the Netherlands.
These carefully curated itineraries will take participants behind the scenes of leading research centres, industrial facilities and demonstration plants, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and real-world applications across the bioenergy sector.
Participants will have the opportunity to visit:

Investa – an expertise centre for gasification technology and sustainable energy carriers, including the DOPS start-up developing laboratory-scale reactors and the TNO Petten biofuel laboratory infrastructure

Argent Energy and ChainCraft – innovative demonstration facilities and laboratories focused on advanced bio-based products

Wageningen University & Research – guided visit to the experimental fields of miscanthus varieties and other fibre crops, together with the renowned World Soil Museum
