Abstract:
In 2007 IEA Bioenergy Task 40 "Sutainable Bioenergy Trade" published the study "Global Wood Pellets Markets and Industry: Policy Drivers, Market Status and Raw Material Potential". In 2010 Task 40 started working on a new report presenting an update of the former study as well as analysis of the trends that are shaping the global biomass market, with biomass products becoming increasingly traded across the world. The study was completed and published on Task 40 website in January 2011 and contains detailed and market of 2010 as well as updates on national legislative framework and market barriers/drivers of the main European, North American, Asian and Australian markets.
