Abstract:
We analyzed the main chemical components contents of switchgrass (Panicum virgatum L.), tall fescue (Festuca arundinacea Schreb.) and ‘cocksfoot¬alfalfa' association (Dactylis glomerata L.¬Medicago sativa L.). Different cultivars of switchgrass and tall fescue and different levels of nitrogen fertilization of cocksfoot¬alfalfa' association were taken into account. This study showed the ranges of the main chemical components contents in these biomasses and the influence of the cultivar or the nitrogen fertilization level on the contents of these components.
