Abstract:
This article refers to a novel approach concerning the District Heating (DH), starting with the present day situation, and energy from bio resources is expected to replace fossil generated energy. It reflects ideas concerning the possibility of a clean technology in terms of classic pollutants, and also the circumstances of controlling (reducing) the CO2 emission. Basically the most tempting bioenergy form for Romania is the biomass (CO2 neutral fuel), and short rotation coppice (plantation, forestry) SRC/SRF might be a solution, assuring as independent or in cocombustion the basic fuel for a cogeneration, system, both also the regional development, income and independence (economic and energetic).
