Abstract:
The paper presents the latest results from the “CLEANSTGAS” - Biomass CHP, based on three-staged gasification for low and medium scale of power (100 – 500 kW electric). CLEANSTGAS® is short for clean staged gasification. Good results in low tar content and high efficiency shown in prior publication, e.g. [1-5] could be demonstrated for more than 4000 operation hours with a new, fully automated, industrial gasification plant. The focus of the present study was long-term functionality, stability of used materials in the gasifier as well as improvement of process automation. Results of GC tar and external water condensate analysis are presented.
