Abstract:
Pyrolysis of sewage sludge to obtain biooil is studied in the Thermochemical Processes Group as a potential way for the energy valorization of this waste. Pyrolysis oils consist of a complex mixture of organic compounds and water. The aim of this work is to analyse the efficiency and selectivity of natural zeolite (NZ) to improve the physical and chemical properties of the biooil obtained in the pyrolysis of sewage sludge, looking for a possible use of this pyrolysis liquid as fuel.
