Abstract:
The presented paper underlines some of the general characteristics for one type of degraded vegetal material, mainly barley related to the degradation process involved during the anaerobic fermentation. The determinations concerning the main parameters of the process were made on a small scale installation and the visual degradation status of the material during the process was observed with the help of a binocular magnifier. In parallel, there is presented a comparison from the point of view of the pH influence using a a mathematical high-level programming language and interactive environment (MATLAB) between the presented substrate and degraded rye.
