Abstract:
This position paper on “Global potential of sustainable biomass for energy” by World Bioenergy Association, WBA, is based on a report [1] by the Department of Energy and Technology at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). The report shows that the maximum global potential to produce biomass for energy in a sustainable way is sufficient to meet the global energy demand.
