Abstract:
the main purpose of the work is to improve the characteristics of fermentation processes aimed at the production of various biofuels (bioethanol, biobutanol, biodiesel) and to widen the spectrum of sources that can be used for their production. Different heterogeneous biocatalysts based on various immobilized cells of microorganisms (yeast, bacteria, filamentous fungi) are used in biotechnological processes of biofuel production. Wastes of industry and agriculture are applied as main substrates for immobilized cells of microorganisms. The spent immobilized biomass of filamentous fungi grown up in the fatandoil containing wastes of food industry is used as sources of renewable energy for biodiesel production. The general idea of the work is the wide application of poly(vinyl alcohol) cryogel possessing macroporous structure as a support for the immobilization of various types cells. Immobilization results in changing of biochemical status of cells and thereby improves their stability to negative influence of various factors
