Abstract:
One of the methods of glycerol valorization is the processing by selective hydrogenolysis in the presence of catalysts, to obtain products for food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics. In the present study is aimed at enhancing the conversion of glycerol from the transesterification process of the vegetable oils to propanediol, by using new catalytic materials.
