Procethol 2G has announced on November 2008 the launch of the FUTUROL PROJECT which is supported by 11 leading partners from research, industry and finance. The aim of this project is the development and marketing of a complete production process for 2nd generation bioethanol from whole plants or from lignocellulosic biomass.
