Abstract:
The use of soil through precision agriculture techniques combined with energy production through the integrated "agrovoltaic" system requires a very detailed preliminary investigation of the territory to choose the most suitable crop based on the characteristics of the site (climatic and geomorphological context). The choice of crop is related to the type of system (configuration of the system) that must not hinder the underlying supply chains. In this work we propose a preliminary study of the microclimatic and chemical parameters of the territory under study, which favor the growth of crops most suitable for the presence of an agrovoltaic system. This study represents an investigation methodology based on the consultation of databases, climate archives and soil analysis, to identify the most suitable crop and the optimal configuration that guarantees maximum energy yield and agricultural productivity. The aim of the work is to characterize the site before installing the system to determine the parameters and identify the most suitable organic supply chains.
