Abstract:
The LIFE-COMP0LIVE project (www.lifecompolive.eu) aims to demonstrate the production of olive fiber-reinforced polymer composites for industrial applications. In a first phase, the production of these biocomposites was performed on a laboratory scale with successful results. This work addresses the scaling up of the production of these biocomposites, which aims to be around 1000 kg in total. The results obtained in the scale up phase are consistent with those obtained in the previous phase on a laboratory scale.
