Abstract:

The present study aims to analyze the social representation of biogas in the Brazilian media according to the Folha de São Paulo newspaper, the most important newspaper in Brazil, between the years 2000 and 2020, recognizing the newspaper as a way to serve the public interest, in which events and debates within these mediatized spheres are capable of impacting and mobilizing society and its institutions to develop biogas and also different sources of energy, with the concern of the society for all the aspects of biogas, with a background of the reality of biogas in Brazil, one of the most important and largest fields for potential in biogas in the world. This research made a analysis using the software IraMuteQ 0.7 alpha 02 to explain the social representation of biogas through the medias.
