Abstract:
Biogas is a green energy that can be produced in a biogas plant by the conversion of the biomass into energy. The increasing interesting in biogas led to the construction of a various number of plants. The paper describes four full scale anaerobic digestion plants. Three plants have a mesophilic anaerobic digestion unit, while the fourth plant has a thermophilic process for biogas and biofertilizer production.
