Abstract:
The opportunity of alternative fuel production from refuse has been considered. The main physical and chemical properties of the above waste have been discussed and some technologies of its processing, which allow to evaluate the prospects and profitability of this production line resulting in a new energy source that is capable of replacing - at least partly - traditional fuels. It is shown that one possible source of raw materials for manufacturing ecologically eco bio-fuels is waste wood treated by means of the innovative processing technology; the significance of the above technology for the environment protection, the world economy and the global climate is difficult to overestimate.
