The Poster Awards are a key part of the EUBCE award ceremony giving additional exposure to the best visual presentations that combine scientific novelty and excellence during the conference.

The European Linneborn Prize
Acknowledges outstanding merits in biomass. The prize was established by the European Commission in 1994 to honor scientific, technical, or managerial merit in the development of energy from biomass. Named after Johannes Linneborn, a a pioneer of wood gasification. Deeply rooted in human ethics, he had far-reaching visions on the world’s development, on health, transport and agriculture.

The Giuliano Grassi Prize
Awards excellence in biomass industrial deployment. The prize was established in 2022 to honor scientific, technical, and managerial merit in the market deployment of biomass industrial processes attained over a long period of continuous achievement.
