Global challenges call for global solutions
James J. Spaeth

U.S. Department of Energy
As people around the globe, young and old, recognize the need for decarbonization, bioenergy offers opportunities that can make a very big difference in the very near term. We have come a long way in bioenergy development and the diversification of biobased opportunities but there are still many hurdles to greater deployment in the bioeconomy. Global challenges call for global solutions. Together we can tackle and overcome these challenges.
Host a parallel event at EUBCE 2021!
Each year, the official EUBCE programme is complemented by a select number of engaging side events directly related to the goals, objectives, and themes of the conference.
All parallel programming will be live streamed through the conference platform. Presenters will be able to screenshare and engage directly with their audience for Q&A and in-dept discussion.
Why should I organise a parallel event or workshop?
- Promote your idea and/or work to the largest international community of biomass and bioeconomy stakeholders in the world.
- Engage and convene stakeholders to gather input; generate new ideas; disseminate solutions; and/or leverage lessons learned.
- While organisers hold primary responsibility for promotion, parallel events and workshops are advertised on the conference webpage, as well as through related news, social, and media channels.
How do I apply?
Send an email to: clara.aguado@etaflorence.it or sinuo.sun@etaflorence.it
Be sure to clearly provide the following information about your parallel event or workshop:
- Title
- Main topic as relevant to EUBCE 2021 (see the full list of 2021 conference topics and subtopics)
- Aim and desired outcome
- Format (seminar, panel discussion, roundtable, etc.)
- Estimated duration
- Estimated number of attendees
- Target audience
- Organiser, co-organiser, and partners (specifying point-of-contact)
- If this will be an open-access or invite only session or event
Present your work at the EUBCE 2021!
The deadline is 20th November 2020
As an invitation to Scientists and Research in the whole field of the Biomass, Bioenergy & Bioeconomy, we would like to encourage the submission of scientific oriented abstracts within a wide range of topics of the global biomass sector.
