EUBCE 2026 will take place in The Hague, The Netherlands
The EUBCE 2026, The Leading Platform for Global Biomass Innovation will take place on 19-22 May 2026 in The Hague, The Netherlands, at the World Forum only a 30-minute drive from Amsterdam Schipol airport and Rotterdam The Hague Airport.
For over 40 years, the European Biomass Conference and Exhibition -EUBCE has been a key platform for reflecting on the biomass sector’s evolution and exploring future trends in bioenergy across research, industry, and policy.
As one of the world’s leading biomass events, EUBCE 2025 will bring together 1,500 experts from academia, industry, and policymaking across over 60 countries to explore the latest developments in biomass, bioenergy and the circular bioeconomy. The programme offers opportunities for networking, knowledge exchange, and collaboration through a mix of workshops, exhibitions, and interactive sessions.
Social and professional networking will be supported by a welcome reception, conference dinner, and networking lunches. The exhibition area will highlight EU-funded projects and feature an exhibition forum designed to foster connections between researchers, academic institutions, and industry leaders.
The Scientific Conference Programme is coordinated by the European Commission Joint Research Centre and covers the entire range of biomass research, technologies and applications focusing on bringing the latest scientific and technological research trends to the market, with the support of Circular Bio-Based Europe
The Hague has a long-term tradition in climate action and is on track to achieve climate neutrality by 2030, with a strong focus on eliminating fossil fuels from its heating system. Through its 'heat detox,' the city is transitioning to cleaner energy sources, reducing CO2 emissions and ensuring a more sustainable future for its residents.
