The
detailed Conference Programme for the 20th European Biomass
Conference and Exhibition, taking place from 18 to 22 June 2012 has
been published online.
Following the review of nearly 1,000
abstracts applying for presentation, the International Scientific
Committee, made up of 140 leading experts from the global biomass
community, has composed the programme of this trend setting Biomass
Conference.
Under
the guidance of Conference General Chairman Dr. Bernd Krautkremer,
Fraunhofer Institute IWES, Head of Bioenergy System Technology, and
Technical Programme Coordination of Dr. Heinz Ossenbrink,
David Baxter, and Jean-Francois Dallemand, European Commision, DG Joint
Research Centre, Institute for Energy and Transport, the scoring
results have been discussed. The Conference Programme has been defined and structured with more
than 880 presentations in 24 Plenary, 240 Oral and more than 620 Visual
Poster Presentations.
In 4 Keynote Presentations, high
ranking speakers from international research facilities and from the
global Biomass industry give an overview and outlook on the latest
technologies and future challenges of biomass.
