Detailed Conference Programme Available
We are very pleased to share the detailed conference programme of the 32nd European Biomass Conference – EUBCE, to be hosted in Marseille from 24 to 27 June 2024 (28 June technical tours).
The programme is arranged in 6 topics, covering themes ranging from biomass resources and potentials, algae and aquatic biomass production systems, agroforestry residues, sustainability, socio-economic, environmental and climate impacts, biomass integration and conversion.
The programme includes 6 plenary sessions, each of them covering a specific topic and providing the information needed to understand the current situation and future direction of biomass, acknowledged as having a crucial role in the future of sustainable integrated energy systems.
These sessions will cover themes such as the transitions to circular biomass value chains for hard to abate transport sectors and regional development, environmental impact assessment in the move towards a green economy and sustainability, production technologies for advanced biofuels, with a focus on Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) as well as a review of the status of biomethane production from biogas.
Oral and visual sessions are grouped by topic and theme to be easily located and tracked in the programme outline and in the full conference programme.
The content of the programme represents the status of 9 April 2024, and will be updated regularly.
