The EUBCE's upcoming location, Denmark, is one of Europe's strongest growth markets with a vibrant biomass research scene. "I would like to thank you for considering Copenhagen as a possible destination to host the 26th European Biomass Conference in May 2018. I am sure that it will be an interesting event and that Denmark will be a good host country with our vast experience with using biomass in the heating system. I am looking forward to welcoming this big and interesting event to Copenhagen." says The Minister, Lars Chr. Lilleholt, Danish Ministry of Energy, Utilities and Climate.

EUBCE is the most important international conference for the biomass sector. For more than 30 years, it has been serving as the annual meeting point for biomass experts from research, development and the industry.

Technological innovations, the latest findings in research, strategies, and economical as well as political framework conditions the future of biomass will be shaped by a unique alliance between research, industry, and politics at EUBCE.

The broad scope and high quality of this event's programme is ensured every single year by the EUBCE Scientific & Industry Committee comprising more than 140 international biomass experts.

The Conference will be structured along the following main topics:
  1. Biomass Resources
  2. Biomass Conversion Technologies for Heating, Cooling and Electricity
  3. Biomass Conversion Technologies for Fuels, Chemicals and Materials
  4. Biomass Policies, Markets and Sustainability
  5. Bioenergy Integration in Energy Systems
The Exhibition extends from basic biomass systems and components to upstream technologies, innovations and new concepts. A perfect contact between researcher, stakeholders and producer: from industry and prime stakeholder organisations to biomas research and development.

All details of the Exhibition show will be published in September 2017.

EUBCE Background
EUBCE takes place at different venues in Europe since 1980.
