Denmark hosts the 26th EUBCE - European Biomass Conference and Exhibition, from 14 to 18 May 2018
The next European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE 2018), the leading international Conference in biomass, will be held in Copenhagehn, Denmark, from 14 - 18 May 2018.
The EUBCE's upcoming location, Denmark, is one of Europe's strongest growth markets with a vibrant biomass research scene. "I would like to thank you for considering Copenhagen as a possible destination to host the 26th European Biomass Conference in May 2018. I am sure that it will be an interesting event and that Denmark will be a good host country with our vast experience with using biomass in the heating system. EUBCE is the most important international conference for the biomass sector. For more than 30 years, it has been serving as the annual meeting point for biomass experts from research, development and the industry.
Technological innovations, the latest findings in research, strategies, and economical as well as political framework conditions – the future of biomass will be shaped by a unique alliance between research, industry, and politics at EUBCE.
The broad scope and high quality of this event's programme is ensured every single year by the EUBCE Scientific & Industry Committee comprising more than 140 international biomass experts.
The Conference will be structured along the following main topics:
The Exhibition extends from basic biomass systems and components to upstream technologies, innovations and new concepts. A perfect contact between researcher, stakeholders and producer: from industry and prime stakeholder organisations to biomas research and development.

EUBCE Background
EUBCE takes place at different venues in Europe since 1980. The event uniquely combines scientific, technological, industrial and application-related issues from the perspective of research and development, industry and policy. With more than 800 keynote, plenary, oral and visual presentations, as well as several parallel workshops, expert panels and specific industry fora, the EUBCE counts as the most outstanding biomass science-to-science and science-to-industry platform.
The EUBCE conference programme is coordinated by the European Commission Joint Research Centre.
