Phy2Climate Project Event and Open Day in Argentina  
Phy2Climate Project partners presented their project activities during an official event in Buenos Aires, attended the project Open Day and visited the Argentinian pilot site closed to La Planta town (San Juan Province, Argentina) last November. One of the objectives of the study for Phy2Climate in Argentina was to evaluate the bioaccumulation of metal(loid)s in four species of native plants and the effect of their distribution and bioavailability in soil with waste from an abandoned gold mine.

Decentralised Production of Advanced Biofuels for Maritime Shipping: Seafairer Project Brand New Video 

SEAFAIRER project focuses on the integration of biofuel production by transforming waste materials such as rice husks, biowaste screenings and agave bagasse into biochar, intermediate biofuel and syngas. This not only helps reduce emissions but also supports the transition to a circular economy in the maritime industry.

A New Way to Produce Silicon Ingots for Solar Panels - RESILEX Project

The Resilex project is piloting a new way to produce silicon ingots utilizing secondary or waste materials. Ingots produced in this way will be tested for the production of solar panels. Learn more in this video about this work.
